The First Ones Out

Madeline sat on her bed, running her smooth fingers through the brail pages of her book.  She laughed when she read her favorite characters snide comment. Sophie looked over, the groaned when she remembered that it was in brail."I hate it when you laugh at something in your book, and I can't see what it is." Madeline heard the bright voice of her sister, who was waiting for her by the bed. Madeline closed the book, turning her head towards her sister."We should probably leave for school, right?" Sophie nodded, then caching herself, smiled."Yeah, we probably should. Let's go." She stood, readjusting her backpack on her shoulder and leaving the room. She didn't bother to help Madeline, since she hated sympathy and knew her way perfectly.

The two sisters soon stood at the bus stop, the morning summer sun striking their similar golden hair. Sophie looked over to see two other walking up the the bus stop. Madeline could feel their feet stomp the ground as well."Who is it?" Sophie turned her blind green/amber eyes on her sister. Sophie stayed silent for a little while."I don't know. I don't recognize them from last year." Madeline waited for awhile, then waved her hand."Hey! Com over here!" She called with a smile."Other way." Sophie leaned over, whispering in her ear."Oh." Madeline quickly turned to them more directly."Hey! Who are you guys?"

Half-Bloods

These are all of the Half-Bloods, all born during the Great War. They age 4 times slower than a regular human, so most appear 10-19 when they are really at least 300 years old.

Sophie Hanson

Half-angel. Sophie is a very  pleasant, sweet, fun, cheery 16 years old girl. She is extremely intelligent, and has some of the highest grades. She is also somewhat humorous. Sophie's friends all consider her extremely optimistic, since she is almost never upset. She is also very innocent, and just reminds everyone of sunshine and rainbows. She loves to help out as much as she can, and never allows herself to rest unless there is absolutely nothing to do. She is best friends with her twin sister, who is blind. Her father died back in the Great War, and her mother was an angel. She and her twin sister are living in the orphanage. She wants a boyfriend, one who is kind, gentle, understanding, and loves lacrosse as much as she does.

Madeline Hanson

Half angel. Madeline is a kind, gentle 16 year old. She was born blind, but doesn't think much of it. She absolutely loves to talk, and as had 300 years of practice being blind. Since she is so used to her surroundings, she doesn't need a guard dog and doesn't want one because she is allergic. Madeline loves to make jokes, pranks, anything that lifts her spirits. Teachers and others often under estimate her, and she loves to prove them wrong. Her father died in the Great War, and her mother was an angel. She lives in the orphanage with her twin sister Sophie, who guides her if she needs help. She has a strange tattoo on her hand, a mark left by her mother. Neither she or Sophie know what it means.

Miko Robin

Half-demon. She's a pretty short girl with dark hair and scarlet eyes. She's sarcastic and not the friendliest person in the world, but she is loyal. She has reflexes like a cat, being able to pull off moves most others can't and land perfectly. She loves to pick on others, but if you know her well enough, you know it's her way of caring. She wasn't raised the best, her mother had been a human and didn't want her, so she tried to kill he many times over, leaving scars all over her body. She loves soccer, reading and writing. She picks on others because of the way she was raised. She's half-japanese. When she's alone she'll sing to her self, her voice is wonderful, it sounds almost like a birds song, if you hear it, you never know its her, because most think that demons can't sing. She grew up with Kaiser, they're like brother and sister. A great fighter, a black belt in almost every fighting art. She's also an aspiring manga artist.


Kaiser Dark

Half-demon. A very handsome, tall but kind of skinny, pale skinned 15 year old guy with a lean, muscular physique, which, over the course of time, has become heavily marred with scars. Has silvery white hair and golden cat-like eyes. portrays himself as a kind, generous, and very polite young man. He tends to be very self-sacrificing, often willing to let his body and emotions take devestating blows for the sake of others. Sometimes his mood changes and he show's his "dark side" something he developed over time because of things he's been put through in the past. As a child Kaiser was actually a much different person; he was rude and withdrawn, so hesitant to form relationships that he often resorted to insulting people who showed him the smallest bit of kindness. He likes Madeline, but doesn't know how to express it. He grew up with Miko,and the formed kind of a sibling relationship.

History of the Realms

Long ago, the world lived in peace and harmony. It had become known that there were three realms total. Earth, Heaven, and the Underworld. The angels in heaven served as guardians to the humans dwelling on earth. The Underworld was simply shut off, only open when a human has turned evil, and needs to be rid off. Things went that way for almost 500 years, but on a dark, stormy day, the Underworld opened itself. 

Thousands of evil spirits and demons came pouring out, wrecking havoc on the earth. To pertain to their duties, the angels came to earth as well. They hunted down every demon and spirit, ridding the world of them. Now, demons and angels alike have a romantic draw to humans. During the Great War, demons and angels both had children before the demons were hunted, and the angels returned to heaven. The children are half-bloods, either half angel or half demon. They often have the form of a human, with angelic or demonic powers. They actually contain more power than their immortal parent, but it does not show until the age of 40.

 Now, another 300 years later, the Underworld Lord named Darken Rahl has finally fought his way to heaven. He was the only surviving demon from the Great War. (Secret Password is Froggie!) He was taken over the minds of the angels, and is not controlling their every action. Darken Rahl is sending all the angels to earth, commanding them to kill all the half-bloods. He fears that with their power, they will learn to over-throw him. He must be stopped!
